What is AutoAssures.com?
AutoAssures.com is an auto insurance guidance website. We explain how coverage works, what affects your premium and how to compare offers, in plain language. Anyone can use our Insurance Tips guides, calculators and worksheets for free, and you can choose an optional monthly plan for quote comparisons, rate updates and support.
Is AutoAssures an insurance company?
No. AutoAssures.com is not an insurance company, agency or broker. We do not underwrite or bind insurance, set rates or handle claims. Auto insurance is offered only by licensed insurers and agents, subject to their underwriting and the laws of your state. Questions about a specific policy or claim should go to your insurer or agent.
Do you sell insurance or give quotes?
No. We do not sell insurance, and we do not request or issue quotes on behalf of any insurer. To get a quote, contact licensed insurers or agents directly. Our Rate Checklist lists what to have ready, and our Compare Quotes tool helps you line up the offers you receive.
Is this a government website?
No. AutoAssures.com is not a USA Government website and is not affiliated with any state insurance department or motor vehicle agency. For official rules, such as the minimum coverage your state requires, check with your state's insurance department.
How does AutoAssures make money?
From our optional monthly plans, and from advertisements that may appear on the website, for which we may earn compensation. We do not sell your personal information to insurers, agents or anyone else.
Plans, billing and refunds
How do the plans work?
There are three monthly plans: Basic at $19 a month with 3 quote comparisons, Standard at $39 a month with 10 quote comparisons, and Pro at $59 a month with unlimited quote comparisons. Every plan includes rate updates and renewal date reminders, and our guides and tools stay free for everyone. You choose a plan on the Start Your Coverage page, we email you a secure payment link, and your plan starts once payment is confirmed. Plans renew monthly until you cancel. A plan is a guidance service, not insurance.
What is a quote comparison?
A side-by-side review of auto insurance quotes you have received, prepared with our comparison tools, so you can see the differences in coverages, limits, deductibles and price. You send us the quotes; we do not request quotes from insurers for you. A comparison is not a recommendation to buy any policy.
How do I cancel my plan?
Email info@autoassures.com (or cancel by email in one click) or call (877) 252-7926, Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Central. You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you have paid for, you are not charged again, and we confirm the cancellation by email.
Can I get a refund?
Refund requests submitted within 7 days of your first payment may be eligible for a full refund. Requests made after 7 days are generally not eligible for a refund, but may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period are not typically provided. Text messages and privacy
How do text messages work?
When you sign up for a plan, you consent to receive SMS text messages from AutoAssures.com, such as auto insurance tips, rate comparisons and savings opportunities. Maximum 7 messages per month, and message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase, and you may revoke it at any time by replying STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. Our Privacy Policy has more information.
Do you sell or share my information?
No. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes, and text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We do not rent or share your personal information without permission or as described in our Privacy Policy.
Guides, tools and help
How do the calculators work?
Each calculator uses only the numbers you enter, such as two premiums and deductibles in the Deductible Calculator, and updates the result on the page as you type. The math runs in your browser, and the numbers you enter are not sent to us. Each tool page explains how its calculation works. Results are estimates to help you think through a decision, not quotes or advice.
Are the guides and tools free?
Yes. Every guide, calculator, worksheet and blog article on AutoAssures.com is free to use, with no account or sign-up needed. Browse them all in the Resource Library. A paid plan is optional and adds services such as quote comparisons, rate updates and support.
Can you help me with a claim?
We cannot file or handle a claim for you; only your insurer can do that. Our guides can help you prepare: the After an Accident Guide covers the first hours and days, and Filing Claims 101 explains how a claim moves from first call to payment.
